Is unlimited data better than a data bundle?
For anything longer than a couple of days, usually yes, because streaming, photo backup and tethering are what consume data rather than maps. For a short trip where you mostly use hotel wifi, a small bundle can genuinely be cheaper. Estimate honestly rather than optimistically.
Can I top up a rufly plan?
There is nothing to top up. Every plan is unlimited for its duration, so the only decision is how many days you need. If your trip is extended, you can buy another plan and install it the same way.
Do I need to cancel anything after my trip?
Not with rufly. Every plan is a one off purchase for a fixed number of days, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing that renews behind your back. When the days run out, the eSIM simply stops.
Can I keep my normal number while using the eSIM?
Yes. The eSIM sits alongside your physical SIM or your existing eSIM, so calls and texts still arrive on your usual number while your data runs over the travel plan. You turn data roaming on for the travel eSIM only, which is what stops your home carrier billing you.
