A closer look at Jan's Dog Rescue
Jan’s Dog Rescue is a small, Coventry based rescue run by Janette Heritage, who has dedicated years to helping vulnerable dogs find safe and loving homes. Based in Radford, the rescue gives dogs a second chance through careful rehoming, support from volunteers and the generosity of local donors. By November 2019, Janette had helped save and rehome around 500 dogs, making Jan’s Dog Rescue a much loved part of Coventry’s animal welfare community.
their mission
Care that changes lives
Rescue Coventry’s forgotten and neglected dogs, rehabilitate them in Janette’s specially adapted Radford home - with training and physio where needed - and match each one with a safe, loving home.
what they need now
Where support matters
Donations towards food and vet bills, and local people ready to adopt - every dog is rehabilitated in Janette’s own home until the right home comes along.
